I started Indigo + Arrow in 2016 and really wanted to dive back into my Native Cherokee roots. Growing up I often visited Indian reservations and got first look at their beautiful handmade crafts specifically the beaded jewelry. I really got into seed bead loom weaving but became out of touch over the years going through life. I am now married and have two little girls named Sakari and Skye who are my biggest inspirations for my designs. I love the versatility of creating new designs and color combinations along with the various finishes of the high quality Japanese seed beads I use for the jewelry. Not only has beading helped me to explore and express my native roots but I also use it as a therapeutic outlet as well. I deal with anxiety and beading helps to rid that. Getting lost in the beads has become quite the little obsession of mine. My oldest daughter Sakari is also a big help to this shop. She often helps with designing and the naming of pieces and from time to time you might find an added little bonus in your package from her :) Hope you enjoy all of our creations and new product lines.
